Processor
Processor enables you to process a large variety of electronic file types so that they may be loaded into a Review tool or litigation support package for review by your legal team. It also enables you to create data packages suited for exchange with other parties in accordance with agreed document or protocols or court mandated formats.
Integrate with your preferred review software.. Convert any source data to a structured load file containing metadata and full text and optionally including native files, page stamped Tiffs and searchable PDFs.The load file can then be imported into any litigation support or on-line review software including eDiscovery Tools Reviewer, FTI Ringtail® Legal™, LexisNexis Concordance®, CT Summation® and kCura™ Relativity.
Manage Duplicates.. identify and optionally delete duplicates across multiple e-mail mailboxes and data sets to reduce the volume of information to be reviewed by the legal team. Duplicates are identified using the industry recognised MD5 cryptographic hash function that can be customised to accept the metadata fields you select as inputs. Processor also supports de-duplication across multiple batches through the ability to import text files containing pre-generated MD5 hash lists.
Preserve Relationships.. Data relationships such as those between host emails and their attachments or zip files and their compressed contents are automatically preserved to reflect multi-level child parent relationships.
Audit and Quality Control.. The characteristics, metrics and configuration relating to every processing job are recorded in an audit database that is forensically defensible and can be easily reviewed upon job completion. 'Problem' files can be reviewed during a Quality Control phase. This enables you to decide how to process files that are unknown, password-protected, corrupted or have any other challenging characteristics.
Supports Multiple Languages.. Unicode compliance enables you to deal with electronic documents created in multiple languages.Native support for the worldwide character-encoding standard, Unicode UTF-16 enables you to process German, French, English, Greek, Russian, Hebrew, Arabic, Hindi, Thai, Chinese, Japanese and Korean content.
Highly Configurable Templates.. A wide range of configuration options are available for each file type including full page scaling, printing of track changes, exposure of spreadsheet formulas, removal of white text, display of hidden objects, password management etc. You can also control which file types are rendered to pdf or tiff format. Your preferred configuration settings can be stored and recalled using our XML processing templates. This enables advanced users to capture preferred processing methodology and settings so processing can be performed by operators with less advanced skills or shared across Processor workstations.
Supports Microsoft Outlook® non-email Content.. Processor can automatically extract metadata from Calendar, Contact and Task items in Microsoft Outlook stores. Handles Embedded Objects.. Processor delivers powerful handling of embedded objects within e-mail and Microsoft Office® file types.
Tailored Placeholders: Processor can insert customizable placeholder pages for any file type or for unprocessed data files.
Bates and Page or Document Numbering: Electronically stamp multi-level Bates numbers or a customizable number on each document or page for TIFF or PDF production.
Processor may be used as an independent application or may be integrated with other eDiscovery Tools products such as the Processor and Reviewer to provide a complete workflow solution across the whole litigation lifecycle.

Estimate time and costs.. The Guesstimator produces an estimate of processing costs, legal review time and costs and the volume of printed pages that would be produced should the legal team decide to “print it all out”. These estimates adjust interactively depending up data filters you select.

Powerful Search: Reviewer features intuitive search functionality. Users can efficiently build, save and load complex search queries involving keywords, phrases, date ranges, relational searches and boolean operators. Searches can be performed over document content (full-text and metadata) or user-created tags. Results are displayed in a clean 'grid view' and can be dynamically sorted, filtered and selected for review.
Multiple Language Support: Reviewer supports e-mails and documents created in multilingual environments. Reviewer's full-text indexing and search functionality is compliant with Unicode, the worldwide character-encoding standard. You may easily load, search and tag German, French, English, Greek, Russian, Hebrew, Arabic, Hindi, Thai, Chinese, Japanese and Korean (CJK) text-based content.
Intelligent Review and 'One Click' Tagging: Depending on your requirements, documents (including metadata) may be reviewed in their native form or as a PDF, all from within your web browser. Users may add multiple custom 'tags' to a document, with a full audit trail.
Document Lists, On-Demand: Reviewer allows your legal team to generate their List of Documents on-demand, in a spreadsheet, directly to Microsoft Excel®.
Direct Load from Ringtail® Load Files: Reviewer supports the direct loading of data from a FTI Ringtail® Legal™ (export.mdb) load file. You may also directly export documents from Processor or Analyst for review.
Proven Technology: As a Microsoft Partner, the underlying Reviewer architecture is developed on Microsoft's robust and scalable enterprise content, search, database management and security software.
User and Matter Management: Securely manage your legal team and cases via an administration interface. The interface provides the ability to create, edit and delete users and cases. Users may be assigned to multiple cases. Administrators may generate statistical reports to facilitate business intelligence and accounting requirements.
User Authentication: Reviewer can be integrated into your firm's existing Active Directory®, or authenticate to a standalone user database. Reviewer may also be integrated with RSA SecurID® to satisfy two-factor user authentication requirements.
